EC 135 Cockpit Build wurde erstellt von wingover
Greetings,
I have become attached to the RotorSim EC135 Plus and I have decided to move forward with a fully functional hardware cockpit. I will upgrade to the Pro once the build is completed to the point I no longer need the 3D cockpit.
I am here seeking accurate measurements of the cockpit layout. Does anyone have anything they could share or any good online resources for the measurements?
I’m thinking realsimgear.com for the GTN 750’s
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Keenan

- seat height above cockpit floor
- position of cyclic base
- pedal position
- main panel angle relative to cockpit floor
- aft pedestal length, width and height
- forward pedestal length, width, height A and height B and/or angle of pedestal panel to cockpit floor
- height of overhead panel
I’m thinking realsimgear.com for the GTN 750’s
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I discovered a solution to my problem; hope others can benefit:
- Took a photo of a yard stick. I placed the yard stick on the floor and placed the cell phone flat on a table with the camera eye exposed over the side of the table. This method minimized any error or variations that could occur along the ruler from taking the photo at an angle. Result was a relatively flat, square and true photo.
- Emailed the photo to myself in high resolution.
- Printed the photo to a .pdf file.
- Saved the .pdf photo in the AviTab chart folder.
- Opened X-Plane in VR mode, activated the Avitab pop-out and opened the "ruler.pdf".
- I happened to have a real GNS430 from an aircraft on hand and it measured approximately 6.25 inches wide. Therefore I scaled (resized) the AviTab in VR view so that 6.25 inches on the "AviTab Ruler" matched the width of the GNS430 in the sim.
- Now you can move the AviTab around the cockpit to measure anything you would like while remaining reasonably accurate: so long as you are careful not to resize the Avitab while moving it around. But if you do; simply recalibrate it with the GNS430 again.
Kind regards,
Keenan
